Transport Logistics Administrator


Alma Personnel have been instructed by their Lichfield based logistics client to recruit for an experienced operations office clerk to be based out of their busy depot.

This position is being offered on a fixed 12 month contract to cover maternity.
You will be liaising within internal and external depots, suppliers, HGV drivers, FLT drivers and internal staff. So communication is key coupled with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, good telephone manner and a calm but professional approach is a must.
Experience of working in a similar environment is advantageous, be a good problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm plus 4 hour shift on a Saturday in morning on a rota basis. Salary being offered is £20K plus OT when required.
25 days holidays, plus stats (excluding holidays one week either side of Easter weekend and the week between Christmas and New Year.
Own transport is essential due to location.
