Our well-established client based in the Birmingham area are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain products.
  • Maintain records of accurate product information.
  • Complete competitor analysis reports to understand the market.
  • Cost analysis for new products whilst monitoring the company’s budgets.
  • International travel to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Work closely with international manufacturers to ensure products are set up and manufactured on time to meet deadlines and specifications.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Buyer.
  • Have experience of travelling internationally to meet with suppliers and be flexible to travel within this role also.
  • Be able to maintain relationships with suppliers.
