Description
Our well-established client based in the Birmingham area are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain products.
- Maintain records of accurate product information.
- Complete competitor analysis reports to understand the market.
- Cost analysis for new products whilst monitoring the company’s budgets.
- International travel to build relationships with suppliers.
- Work closely with international manufacturers to ensure products are set up and manufactured on time to meet deadlines and specifications.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Buyer.
- Have experience of travelling internationally to meet with suppliers and be flexible to travel within this role also.
- Be able to maintain relationships with suppliers.
